Chapter 2 · Life in the network
The six rules
Six rules were written before day one. They stand above every ordinary vote.
1. No riba, ever
No interest-based money, in any form. The economy runs on work, not debt.
2. No haram industries
No alcohol, gambling, pornography, tobacco, or pork. Not built here, not funded here.
3. One verified voice, one vote
Governance power is never bought. One equal voice per verified passport.
4. Dignity for every member
No dehumanization, no exploitation.
5. Every treasury decision in the open
Every allocation is public and goes through a proposal.
6. No leaderless vacuum
The network always has a recognized leader, the Conductor, responsible for continuity.
Everything else is decided by members
Members vote yes, no, or abstain. Each verified member has one voice. The ballot is sealed until the clock closes, and you can change your vote until then.
The votes cast decide, with a quorum. Nobody has to vote on everything. When the clock closes, the result happens on its own and the roll call becomes public. Every proposal and finished vote is in Chapter 3.
