How to create, claim, and complete tasks — earning XP and UMFI along the way.
Tasks are the fundamental unit of work in Oumafy. Every project breaks down into tasks that members can claim and complete. Tasks may include UMFI bounties and XP rewards.
Task lifecycle: Open → In Progress → Proof Submitted → Under Validation → Completed. Anyone can claim an open task (or project owners can assign them). Once claimed, you work on it and submit proof of your contribution.
Proof of contribution is key — you must provide evidence of your work (links, screenshots, code commits, documents, etc.). This proof is what validators will review.
Each task is reviewed by 3 validators who have 48 hours to assess the work. A 2/3 consensus is needed: if 2 out of 3 validators approve, the task is marked complete and rewards are distributed. If rejected, feedback is provided so you can revise.
Task details include: priority level (low/medium/high/urgent), due dates, bounty amount (UMFI), XP reward, and the assigned project. Browse available tasks in your Workspace.
