How Soulbound Tokens enable fair, one-person-one-vote governance across the network.
Soulbound Tokens (SBTs) are non-transferable tokens that represent verified membership in the Oumafy network. Unlike tradeable tokens, SBTs are permanently bound to your identity — they cannot be bought, sold, or transferred.
Every verified member receives exactly one SBT. This ensures fair governance: one person equals one vote. No amount of wealth or token accumulation can give anyone more voting power than any other member.
SBTs are required for: voting on project proposals, participating in network governance, serving as a task validator, and accessing certain Builder-tier features.
The SBT system prevents Sybil attacks (one person creating multiple accounts to gain extra votes) and ensures that governance power reflects genuine participation, not financial power.
SBTs are issued after completing the onboarding process and verifying your profile. They serve as your governance credential throughout the network.
