Member Tiers & XP
How the tier system works — earn XP through contributions and unlock new privileges.
Oumafy uses a tier system to recognize member contributions. Your tier is determined by your total XP (Experience Points), which you earn through completing tasks, validating work, and participating in governance.
Novice (0 XP): Every new member starts here. Novices can browse projects, complete tasks, and build their profile. Focus on completing your onboarding and taking on your first tasks.
Explorer (1,000 XP): Explorers have demonstrated commitment through meaningful contributions. They gain access to task validation roles and can propose new projects.
Builder (5,000 XP): Builders are the backbone of the network. They can create projects, lead teams, serve as senior validators, and have increased governance weight.
XP is earned through: completing tasks (varies by task), validating others' work (+50 XP), creating approved projects (+200 XP), and community participation. Your XP and tier are displayed on your public profile.
