The Passport, Redesigned — and a Simpler Way In

A quiet stretch on the journal doesn't mean a quiet stretch on the build. Over the last months the app itself changed shape more than the words here did — so here is where things actually stand, in plain language.

Your Passport is your credential, not a profile page

The center of Oumafy is now the Passport: the member-owned credential that carries your identity, your track record, and your proof of contribution. It is the one thing everything else hangs from.

Two ideas drive the redesign. First, what you are looking for is a live object, not a line of text — say it once and the network routes it to the people and ventures that can answer, then it resolves when it is found. Second, standing is earned, never typed in. Your rank tier and your titles are computed from real acts — work delivered, work validated, causes backed — so the credential reflects what you have actually done.

A simpler way in: a free Passport and a welcome grant

Every new member starts with a free Passport and a welcome grant of 1,000 Umafy — roughly a month of membership, handed to you in the network's own currency rather than a bolted-on trial. The old free trial is retired; the grant replaces it.

A Verified Passport is $10 per month, and you can pay with a card or redeem 1,000 Umafy for it. Administrators are exempt. The point is that active contributors can sustain their membership through participation, not just payment — no one is excluded by money, only by non-contribution. Verified members earn Umafy; the daily briefing is free to everyone.

Where we actually are

We are in Genesis — the first phase, deliberately capped small. That is by design, not by accident: trust has to precede scale, so growth happens in controlled cycles rather than a viral rush.

It also means some of the network's machinery is built and waiting rather than busy. Governance, the treasury, the standings, the collective story — all of it works, and all of it comes alive as the network fills. We would rather ship the structure early and let it fill honestly than fake the numbers.

More of the coordination layer surfaced directly to members — the AI at the center of Home already routes what you are looking for, briefs you on what matters, and can act on your behalf, and we are widening what it can do. The Reel keeps getting lower-friction: post a short video idea, gather belief, and turn it into a real venture in a single tap. And the door stays as simple as we can make it.
